Safeguarding Policy
Our commitment to keeping families safe
Family Support UK is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children, vulnerable adults and the families we introduce our workers to. Safeguarding underpins every part of our service.
Our commitments
- All candidates working with children or vulnerable adults must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- We carry out identity, Right to Work and reference checks before any introduction.
- Candidates are expected to demonstrate safeguarding awareness, including recognising and reporting concerns.
- Paediatric First Aid training is encouraged for all nannies and childcare professionals.
- Families are encouraged to verify documents directly and follow up references themselves.
Raising a concern
If you have a safeguarding concern about a worker or family introduced through Family Support UK, please contact us immediately at ukfamilysupportuk@gmail.com or call +44 7345 691 8930. Where a child or vulnerable adult is at immediate risk, contact the police on 999 or your local authority safeguarding team.
