Full-Time Nanny
Sole-charge care for children aged 0–8 in a family home, Monday to Friday.
About this role
Full-time nanny roles are the positions we are asked about most often. Families usually need consistent weekday cover between around 8am and 6pm, with the nanny taking sole charge for part or all of the day.
Most placements are long term. Families value warmth, reliability and good communication as highly as formal qualifications.
Typical responsibilities
- Planning and leading age-appropriate play, learning and outdoor activities
- School and nursery runs, clubs and appointments
- Preparing children's meals and managing nursery duties
- Keeping a simple daily log and communicating openly with parents
What we look for
- At least two years' professional childcare experience with checkable references
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one)
- Paediatric first aid certificate, or willingness to complete one
- Right to Work in the United Kingdom
